About

Well i popped into this world with a pretty open mind, and thankfully have kept it open. I started drawing and speaking at 8 months thanks to my parents who are both artists.. to some of us art is a language :) . Throughout Elementary school, I was constantly pushed to be involved in creative art programs and was always recognized as an artist by my peers. Throughout high school I participated in all art classes and some groups, but outside of school – I started getting involved in computer artwork- digital imaging, 3D design, and photo working. Overtime I involved myself in 3D Online Communities and developed a desire to create a product for this market. So I learned the programs, and built 3D characters that looked similar to my drawings and sold them in online marketplaces, I made a bit of money and started to get involved in social networking as the buzz hit in 2003. Everywhere I looked people were on Myspace and Facebook. After studying them thoroughly. I decided to create my own online celebrity persona and in time, turn it into a market, with a goal of one day being able to say that I build my own empire without spending a dime. After building a network of over 30, 000 friends on Myspace, Stickam and Facebook – I had been able to brand myself as a recognizable graphic designer artist with a unique style. I launched my own website to test my network and was able to generate 2, 000 hits on the first day of my launch. Because of my success with this network, I knew I could do the same type of work for a business and get a response like I did with my own site.

I started working for Generation YM in 2008, and my knowledge of the design and publishing industry had broadened beyond anything I had anticipated. My experience and team had supplied me with an opportunity far bigger than any position of employment could have given me, and a chance to change peoples lives for the better.

I don’t see facebook as a place to hang out, or aim a place to chat with my friends 24/7, or myspace as a place to just put tons of pics up… I see these sites as networks, places wieth over 100 million accounts, and whenever a new site pops up that gets hot (i.e twitter) I find a way to utilize it. If people exist on a network, and there is opportunity to promote and grow on this network, then there is a way to maximize potential- it’s about figuring out what works.
